We strive to provide a safe, fun, and relaxed environment where children can learn and grow. Our staff is highly qualified and experienced in supervising and interacting with children. The After School Program, licensed by the State of New York, Office of Children & Family Services, and is a registered member of the nationwide Afterschool Alliance, provides quality childcare for children in grades K-6 from the end of the school day until 6 p.m. in a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment.
The program promotes positive parenting, enabling parents to focus on their careers and jobs with knowledge that their children are well cared for and are constructively engaged. The program includes activities, which encourage creativity, independence, responsibility, and fun.
The teaching staff prepares weekly plans which include a wide range of supervised activities such as arts and crafts, indoor/outdoor playground/gymnasium games, quiet games, along with quiet time for homework & reading and a daily snack. All activities are designed to promote positive self-esteem, appreciation, and respect for each child's background and culture.
