YWCA Preschool Program, ages 3-5

Social, physical, cognitive, and emotional education takes place within two spacious rooms on the second floor of the YWCA building.  Our preschool offers activities for youngsters ages 3 to 5.

The program uses the on-site gym with recreational equipment, heated pool, and adjacent playground.

We model our efforts on the standards of the schools our students will enter. We aim for a balance of academic and social growth. Our children learn school readiness skills, helping each child to reach his or her full potential.

School readiness skills include: understanding and following instructions, communicating with others, expressing feelings appropriately, knowing how to share, and being eager to learn and try new experiences.

The preschool program is open to any child ages 3-5.  Child care is available from 7:00am until 5:30pm.
